Modern Defensive Firearms Academy offers classes for the complete beginner to the experienced shooter.
 

At this time we are operating on a private instruction basis. Beginning in the fall of 2013, we will be holding beginner and 

intermediate classes in Defensive Handgun, Tactical Rifle, and Tactical Shotgun.
 

Our small class sizes and personal attention to each student ensures that everyone within a class grouping will be

challenged and have the opportunity to improve their skills, while constant attention is paid to the fundamentals of safety

and honing specific skill sets.
 

When registering for a class, you will be asked some basic questions as to your skill level and firearms shooting

experience. You will be further assessed at the range so we can tailor your training for the most productive and enjoyable

learning experience.


Classes are designed to be interesting, fast-paced, challenging and fun. You will be surprised at how much you can learn

and how well you can perform when attending one of our classes. Our instructors are expert at diagnosing and correcting

problems in an encouraging and positive manner. For those students wanting to purchase a firearm, we offer expert advice

regarding makes, models, accessories, maintenance and safe storage. If we have the model of gun you are considering,

we can make it available at minimal cost, so you can try before you buy.

For those students who do not have a firearm, we have a limited number of guns available for use in classes or private

lessons.
